"ALL INDIA SHEPHERDS FEDERATION" formed in New Delhi!
New Delhi: It was resolved unanimously to Form "All India Shepherds Federation" in the meeting held at MP Auditorium, Teen Murty Road, New Delhi on 19/5/12. Chief Convener of the meeting, Mr. H Vishwanath (MP Mysore Karnataka), Mr. Siddaramiah (Leader of Opposition Party, Karnataka Assembly), Mr. Mahadevji Jankar (National President , RSP Maharashtra), Mr. H M. Revanna (Former Minister Karnataka) Venkatesh Murthy (Newly elected Mayor Bangalore Karnataka), Mr. S P Singh Baghel (MP Rajyasabha U.P.) ,Mr. Shaitansingh Pal (National President ABPB Mahasabha M.P.), Mr.Egga Malleshan ( President Andhra State Kuruma Association A.P.), Mr. Sagar Raika (AICC Secretary, Former MP Rajasthan), Mr. I G Sanadi (Former MP Dharawad Karanataka) Padam Bhushan Shyam Singh Shashi, (Former Director General, Information and broadcasting- GOI) , Dr. B K Ravi (Former Member Karnataka State BC Commission), Laxmanrao Chingle, Bandappa Kashempur MLA, K B Shantappa ( Working President secretary Karnataka Pradesh Kurbar Sangh) K Ramchandrappa ( Genaral secretary, Karnataka Pradesh Kurbar Sangh) , Mr. G.S.Pal (President , Sarvoday Kranti Party, Delhi) , Prof. Ram Shinde MLA (Maharashtra) Mr. Muthuswami (President Kurumban Sanaha Tamilnadu), Mr D. K Pal (Delhi), Mr Sitaram Pal (Hariyana), H Maheshappa, (Vice Chancello,r Vishwsshwaayya Technical university) Mr S L Akkisagar (President AI RBI OBC Employees’ Assn. Maharashtra) and 100 + shepherds from 10 states attended this Historical Meeting. In this Historical Meeting it is decided to have "SHEPHARDS" as a Single, Unique “Identity” as well as “National Identity” for 110 Million Community (11%) of India Bearing Different Names. After the meeting Mr Vishwanath along with other leaders faced the press conference. Mr. Jogin Trustee All India Kanak Gurupeeth Bagalkot Karnataka) Mr Ganesh pal ( Secretary Sarvoday Kranti Party Delhi) Mr. Kishor Lasure, Dr Ramesh Pal, Lalita Baghel, Rajendra Prasad, Vishal Kumar, Tejpal Baghel, D S Verma and many others were present in the meeting. The resolution to form "ALL INDIA SHEPHERDS FEDERATION" was proposed by Convener Mr. H Vishwanath, Mr Chingle tabled and Mr Akkisagar & Mr Lasure seconded. Most of the representatives attended, took active part in the meeting and put their views supporting the single main RESOLUTION.
ALL INDIA SHEPHERDS FEDERATION a coordinating UMBRELL BODY at National level -Vishwanath
Mr. H Vishwanath viewed and elaborated that, “presently we have number of Associations of Shepherd at State and National level. But we have no coordinating “UMBRELL BODY” at National level. Today we have unanimously resolved to form "ALL INDIA SHEPHERDS FEDERATION”. This National level body will work independently for liaisoning between community associations, state associations, national associations and National & State Governments for the upliftment of Shepherd Community. "ALL INDIA SHEPHERDS FEDERATION" based at National Capital in New Delhi will be working as coordinator for all community organisations. It will be an advisory body and guiding force. Our federation will be focusing mainly on Educational Development, Economic Development, Socio-Political Development, International Development and Overall Development. Shepherds bearing different names in different states one of the single largest communities of India and is found throughout India. But Shepherds are deprived of Social, Economical and Political power. When asked by journalist what the demands of federation are, Mr Vishwanath replied, now we are in PRIMITIVE stage.
